IAMES2024 addresses all aspects of modeling, optimization, and control for environmental systems. These topics generally involve scientists from different disciplines and find application in multiple domains (natural and technological risk management, pollution, power and energy, circular economy, …) in an integrated way. It will serve as an international forum for discussing the role of automation and systems engineering for environmental and energy sustainability, analyzing environmental impacts, economic issues, new technologies (energy production from renewables, smart grids, smart buildings, electric vehicles, etc.), and new management tools (decision support systems, building automation systems, energy management systems, etc.).
