17th edition of the International Conference on Advanced Visual Interfaces

The 17th edition of the International Conference on Advanced Visual Interfaces is held in Arenzano, Genoa, organized by the University of Genoa, DIBRIS, in cooperation with the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the ACM’s Special Interest Groups (SIGs) on Computer-Human Interaction (ACM SIGCHI), Multimedia (ACM SIGMM), and Hypertext and the Web  (ACM SIGWEB).  

AVI 2024 presents a broad scientific program covering traditional AVI topics such as information and data visualization, multimodal interaction, augmented and virtual reality, while also addressing emerging topics including the application of generative artificial intelligence in HCI.

The program features the presentation of 21 long research papers and 28 short papers organized into sessions on 13 main topics. Furthermore, it includes a Poster session, a Demo session, and a Doctoral Consortium session.

Finally, the rich program includes 3 keynote talks, 3 tutorials, and 10 workshops addressing some of the most exciting issues in HCI.
