The RICE laboratory at DIBRIS (Robots and Intelligent systems for Citizens and the Environment, https://rice.dibris.unige.it/) triumphed in the robot dog contest at the European Robotics Forum 2024 (https://erf2024.eu/challenges/). The team, comprising seven Robotics Engineering students and led by Zoe Betta, a doctoral candidate in DIBRIS, expertly navigated their quadruped robot through both a labyrinth and an obstacle course, achieving the fastest time with the least number of penalties.
