The RICE lab wins the robot dog race at ERF 2024

The RICE laboratory at DIBRIS (Robots and Intelligent systems for Citizens and the Environment, triumphed in the robot dog contest at the European Robotics Forum 2024 ( The team, comprising seven Robotics Engineering students and led by Zoe Betta, a doctoral candidate in DIBRIS, expertly navigated their quadruped robot through both a labyrinth and an obstacle course, achieving the fastest time with the least number of penalties. 

The team won a Unitree Go1 quadruped robot as a prize for their victory! The picture shows the RICE team with their best friend PlanA.
